This is a self portrait

Contrasting to the cool chilling vibe outside the window, the redness of my face shows my frustration towards senior year and college application.

This painting is inspired by Chicago the musical

A drawing about the relationship between a boss and his employee in ballpoint pen

These two drawings symbolize what my dream house looks like
This is an illustration of what I think Neverland looks like. In my opinion, Neverland is a special place in heaven for the aborted kids, and the reason why kids there never grew up is because they were never given the chance to.

a commentary on how greediness is heating up the Earth and affecting human as a whole

a commentary on how kids with better family background gets better education more easily
my favorite page from my sketchbook, it's an illustration of a normal day for an alien family living near Saturn
an underwater world. The sketches on the side are cars designed for this world

If you’re ever experiencing uncertainty for not being cool enough, consider this: to the aliens living on the moon, you are the alien living on the moon, and being an alien is definitely cool!
My theme takes a critical view on my bad habit - taking something ethical a step too far to rationalize the wrongs I’m doing. In my work, I criticized this habit by applying it onto an extraordinarily normal emotion- the love for one’s own pet- and pushing it overboard to the point where it becomes disturbing
This is a set of illustration I did to depict human relation with this material world.

This is a set of characters I did intuitively by putting down paint at wherever I felt like without any planning. I really like the playfulness and liveness of this piece.
This collage is made to depict the sweet and sour time in a relationship when you both know you’re into each other, but you’re too shy to admit it. The two characters are both avoiding eye contact, but their body language is saying something totally different- they’re turned towards each other and the eyes on their breast are staring at on another. The mosquito-like creatures are Cupids.

Some people don’t get in relationship because they love their partner, but for what their partner can give—a better future, a trophy to show off to their friends, or simply someone to assure them of their self-worth and attractiveness. Though they might be seen as self-centered, I think they have extreme low self-esteem, and must‘ve suffered just as much as their partners.  This is what I picture how they feel.

I am very into character designing, and this is one of my digitally rendered character.

I tried to push my character design a step further by turning one of them into clay sculpture.

The car is empowered by body parts of corpses. It has brain as engine, eyes as headlights and a nose as exhaust pipe
When the whole Heaven Street was filled with excitement about going to war, Death sighed, ”I’ve seen so many young men over the years who think they’re running at other young men. They are not. They are running at me.”  I made this piece to visualize this enduring quote from The Book Thief. Death, as a god, is sacredly standing tall, but the exhaustion of running here and there to collect souls for war is deeply carved into his face. On his hands is the bag where the gone souls are collected. People were trying to push each other into the bag, but no one was aware that they themselves are being pushed into the bag, and volunteering to become one of Death’s “collection” too.
